The Club Leadership Learning Seminar (CLLS), formerly known as the District Training Assembly (DTA) or District Assembly, is a vital annual Rotary event designed to train incoming club leaders, prepare them for the upcoming Rotary year, and foster connection within the district.

It focuses on equipping club officers, directors, and committee chairs with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to effectively lead their clubs.

Key aspects of the CLLS/District Assembly include:

• Target Audience: Primarily for incoming club presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and committee chairs (membership, foundation, public image). It is also highly recommended for new members and "Red Badgers" looking to understand Rotary's structure.
• Purpose: To learn the theme and goals for the coming Rotary year, strengthen leadership skills, and share best practices.
• Training & Education: Sessions often cover membership growth, public image, service projects, Rotary Foundation, grant management training, and club leadership tools.
• Networking: Provides an opportunity to connect with district leadership, including the District Governor-elect (DGE) and other club leaders.
• Grant Qualification: Often includes mandatory training for clubs seeking District o
Global Grants.

Susan is a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Moorabbin Hospital, boasting over 30 years of dedicated service with Monash Health. Specialising in Infection Prevention and Quality, she provides vital clinical education and procedural support. Beyond her professional career, Susan has been a humanitarian force in Vietnam for 27 years, establishing sustainable community projects in Kon Tum’s orphanages and villages. An avid cyclist, she rides three times weekly and frequently explores New Zealand by bike. This October, she will tackle a 1,470km journey from Piopiotahi (Milford Sound), demonstrating the same endurance and passion she brings to her community service.

Tonight is Session 8 in the Camberwerwell Art Show Signup List: all able-bodied Members, their partners, their friends and neighbours are invited to attend to hang all the paintings that were delivered on Tuesday. There are over 1,000 of them!

It's vital that we get the bulk of the paintings up on the panels and looking good so that the CAS Committee can then review the overall apperance of the Show, to perform the Location Audit and complete other set up/administrative tasks well before the Gala Opening on Friday.

The Volunteer car park is entered from Sackville Street opposite Thomas Street.
