RIMERN's Aboriginal Homemakers Program:

Aboriginal Victorians are 0.8% of the population but over 10% of the people needing support from homelessness services, so RIMERN's here to help!

Working with 8 Aboriginal referral agencies, RIMERN supplies everything a homemaker needs to turn an empty property into a welcoming home, but while many items are donated, some we have to buy and we need your help to meet demand!

End Polio Now — Rotary’s Global Humanitarian Mission:

Of all the projects and causes supported by Rotary International, End Polio Now stands apart as our premier global humanitarian program.

For more than 40 years, Rotary has led an extraordinary worldwide effort to eradicate polio. Working with governments and international health organisations, Rotarians have
helped protect hundreds of millions of children through vaccination and have brought the world remarkably close to achieving something that once seemed impossible — a world free from polio.

But we have not yet finished the job.
This is why every Rotary Club and every Rotarian has an important role to play. Whether through fundraising, community awareness, advocacy, supporting vaccination campaigns or simply helping to spread the message, our individual contributions become part of a truly global effort.

Imagine being part of the generation of Rotarians that finally eradicates polio from the world. That is an opportunity that does not come along very often.
Our Club should be proud of Rotary’s leadership in this historic campaign — and, importantly, we should continue to play our part in ensuring that the job is completed.

End Polio Now is not simply another Rotary project. It is our opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for generations of children around the world.

Please join us on our annual walk, this year on Sunday October 18th from 2pm at Fritsch Holzer Park, Hawthorn.
