Volume 68 | Issue 21 | 22nd November 2023

We gather together on the lands of the traditional custodians, the Wurundjeri and Woi Wurrung people. We pay our respects to all of Melbourne’s First Peoples, to their ancestors and Elders, and to our shared future together.

General Meeting – Conochie Hall, 22 November 2023

As you are all aware that one of my goals for the club is to do more in our locality and municipality, so it was pleasing to hear from two people being Joe Hastie (St Vincent de Paul) and Maureen Salter (Principal 2023 Camberwell High School).

District Governor Nomination for 2026 - 2027
As advised at our meeting I put forward a resolution for adoption by members that the rotary Club of Camberwell accepts the nomination of Graeme Hope for the position of District Governor, District 9800 Inc. for the Rotary Year 2026 – 2027.
This was seconded by Annie Murphy and twenty-three members voted in favour on the night.  As the resolution requires a simple majority (50%) I undertook to contact other members which I have done and am pleased to advise that we have a majority.
Thank you, Graeme for nominating for the role and to members for supporting the nomination.
