New Generations Service
The Rotary Club of Camberwell would like to offer interested parties the opportunity to apply to attend the annual RYLA program.
RYLA is a week long, residential, personal development program for young people aged 18-25, which focuses on self, leadership and community – the program aims to:
- Give young people the chance to come together in a supportive environment to gain a better understanding of their own strengths, and the unique qualities and abilities of others.
- Provide an opportunity for young people to develop a network of resources to build their capacity and personal development.
- Facilitate learning about teamwork, communication, and motivation, and to develop the leadership skills of young people through experiential workshops.
- Create a greater awareness of the social issues affecting young people.
- The program is run ‘by young people, for young people’.
This year the program will run from Sunday 27th of November to Saturday 3rd December at The Oasis Centre in Mt Evelyn and nominations will be required by end of October.
